Residencies and Courses
Paris 2026
In 2026 I will undertake a funded residency at Le Cite Internationale des Artes in Paris conducting research for my project AWEAR: making wearable gestures of hope about climate change

Bangkok 2019
A Korean Inlay course at Atelier Rudee in Bangkok in 2019 with acclaimed jeweller Sungho Cho enabled me to learn the skills to incorporate gold into steel artworks.

Residency at Bundanon in NSW, Australia, 2021

Maria Island National Park 2018
I have become very skilled at packing up my studio into a portable form and working in remote locations. In 2018 an Arts Tasmania grant enabled me to spend a month in winter on this island researching for new artworks.

Deal island 2005 and 2009
In both 2005 and 2009 I was able to spend three months at a time as a Volunteer Caretaker for the Parks and Wildlife Service on this remote island in Bass Strait. While not a formal residency, I was able to set up a studio space and have dedicated studio time, which helped to start my career as a professional artist.
